RÉMY VANDENDYCK - ESPRIT GAMES

A student project started in 2018, during my second year in my Game Design program at ISART Digital, You're Da Boss is an Endless Boss Fight converted into a mobile, free-to-play game. The player is immersed in a classic fantasy universe where he must play not the hero, but, the boss. Indeed, in this game, you have to survive the hero who comes to take your treasure, day after day. To do this, you can customize your boss so that he becomes more and more powerful, especially with gacha to get bonuses and other new attacks.

This project is one of the ones I care about the most because the time spent on it is so long. A real nugget as far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, this game has a lot of potential and that's why we were awarded the Gameplay Prize of our class on this project, a prize awarded by several Ubisoft members, among others. This project is full of potential and that is why its redesign and adaptation into a professional project is in progress, for release at the end of 2019.
